"Fall Festivals"

Have you noticed the increase of "Fall Festivals" being put on by local churches over the past couple of years? Well we have.
(sidenote: when you read this every time you read "Fall Festival" you have to make the quotation mark sign with your hands...yea that one. Go ahead and practice here.."Fall Festival")

So my son and I were having fun with this concept in the car Halloween night, errr am I aloud to call it Halloween night or should I call it "Fall Festival" night? hmmmm...anyway we were having fun with the concept on the way to a "Fall Festival" at one of the local churches.

Actually we had just left one "Fall Festival" and were on the way to another "Fall Festival"...hey these are the things we do when you have two boys that eat as much as ours do and churches are offering free food. Anyway we were talking about how we are Christians and therefore we don't go to Halloween parties but rather we go to "Fall Festivals".

If your a Christian you really shouldn't go to the pagan Halloween parties but you should go to the more appropriate "Fall Festival". I mean the differences are obvious. For instance at a "Fall Festival" kids dress up in costumes and play lame games and get free candy where as at a Halloween party kids dress up in costumes, play lame games and, well, uhhh, never mind.

Haha. Our church in Orange Park had a fall festival, and i was pretty excited until i found out it was a bunch of old people selling their crap on tables inside the fellowship hall. No food. No games. LAME.
but the church down the street had a ferris wheel, food, loud music and 50 other carnival rides. Those catholics know how to Partay. :)
You know where i was ;)
